Promulgated in February 2020, the AGEC Law (‘Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy’) sets out to transform our linear economy (Produce-Consume- Discard) into a circular economy. Among the five main points defined is ‘Better Production’, setting a target of 10% reused packaging by 2027.
In this context, brands, manufacturers and distributors are thinking about virtuous solutions to encourage consumers to change their habits in a sustainable way. At the end of June 2025, several major players in the cosmetics sector joined forces with two distributors for a national experiment on the reuse of perfume bottles.
